About Other Media
Artists are often known by one style of work, although they may work in many media and in many styles. I guess that there is one image or several that become iconic and define the artist in people’s minds… But really, we arrive at those images by exploring, by getting “lost in the dark”. I have always felt a desire to show all of it, to reveal the explorations as well as the discoveries. These are just several forays that I’ve taken into unfamiliar territory. Sometimes I view them as other branches of my art, sometimes they are just experiments. Always they inform and change the way that I paint.
